After leaving school, David qualified in Horticulture and ran a Horticultural business in North Dorset for almost ten years. He later qualified in law with a leading London city firm in 1981.
He practiced for six years in Salisbury, and joined Kitson & Trotman as a Partner in 1987. David specialises in all freehold and leasehold property matters and deals largely with the conveyancing of farms, country estates, business and commercial premises and private residences.
In addition to his passion for horticulture, David also helps his wife manage a pedigree Jacob sheep flock, and enjoys sailing when time permits.
Over the years David has been closely involved in the local community as a Church Warden, School Governor, President of the Beaminster Chamber of Trade and a founder member and secretary of the Lyme Regis Museum Trust.
