Chris qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and for twenty years practised exclusively in civil litigation in central Birmingham before moving to Dorset in 2001. He has wide litigation experience and has been on the Law Society specialist Family Law and Personal Injury Panels; he has been a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers for over twenty years, and is a member of ACTAPS, The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists. He has a busy practice in challenges to wills, claims against personal representatives and claims for financial provision from estates. He also handles high value divorce litigation and contractual disputes, including those relating to professional negligence.
He has direct business experience, having for some years in the 1980s and 90s combined professional practice with being the commercial director of an industrial company in the Midlands. He is a past President of the Dorset Law Society and a Deputy District Judge.
Chris lives with his family in Devon and is a keen cook, traveller, and cricketer, playing in local league matches.
