We have three offices – in Bridport, Beaminster and Lyme Regis. Clients can meet any of the team at any of the offices. We also offer local home visits for those unable to travel. For more details, (see contact us).
The firm was founded in 1756 by John Russell in the building now occupied as our principal office, The Champions, Beaminster, Dorset. By 1868 the firm had moved elsewhere in the town and was known as Cox & Kitson. The present name of Kitson & Trotman dates from 1892. Fiennes Trotman opened the office in Lyme Regis in 1928. The Beaminster office returned to the original building at The Champions in 1955. The Bridport office was opened in 1998 to enable us to provide a more accessible service to our clients in the Bridport area.
